The Way the Better Archway Forum Works

The Better Archway Forum runs regular meetings for as many local organisations and interested individuals as possible. We meet regularly to discuss what we know, and reach a consensus on the opinion the community as a whole wishes to put forward. Advice from other similar groups is that the community can have a real influence on what happens.

Advice from other similar groups is that the community can have a real influence on what happens - as long as it speaks with a concerted voice. If that does not happen, the council can divide and rule.

Agreement is sometimes hard to reach but we feel that it is important that we do this among ourselves rather than have a solution imposed from the outside, which may not appeal to any of us at all.

Please get in touch

  • If you would like to join the group as an individual or on behalf of an organisation which is not already represented.

  • If you have any kind of relevant expertise to offer the forum on consultation, planning, development and other related issues. Just help on where to look for relevant information and advice can be invaluable.

  • If you would just like to be kept up to date with details of what is going on. We can add you to our e-mail mailout list. Unfortunately, because of costs, we can’t afford to do regular postal mailings.
